Every Moment of this life Be to Your Glory

Dear Heavenly Father

Times are good in our lives and you have blessed us with so much. Thank you, Father. We are under a stressful time but somehow it doesn’t seem like that is so. We thank you for showing us how to take all things in stride and to keep us focused on the goals and not on the problems. Thank you for all the giving hearts and the strong support we are receiving from our brothers and sisters in Christ. It’s a real blessing to see all the effort that goes into these huge projects. Father, I am dealing with contractors and people I really don’t know but thank you for sending good men to assist me in these rebuilding efforts. I feel that these men I prayed to have come...they have come. Thank you for them Father as now I can relax and know I have selected good workers for your kingdom and spent your money wisely. It’s never easy to spend money that is for your work as we have to be ever so careful that it is used for the good of the whole congregation and not just a select sector. Father, I beg you keep my will transparent and only your will be done and the glory be given to you. I know that you sent the right people at the right time. I have always prayed to be nothing more than to be your servant and I give all the glory to you for making me a good steward of what you have given to me to do in your work. I pray only to give back in the manner I have received which is huge. I am a simple person Lord and I thank you for this opportunity to use what I have to be into service to you. Lord hold us up on high while we try to finish this work. Father I beg that you not let us grow faint and hold us strong until the last item is completed. Use up our bodies for your work until there is nothing left undone. It is to your holy name that we work daily to complete our task.

Father, people on my heart today are Peggy and Glen, Sandra, Jenny, David, Darla, Debra, Harvey, Roland, Charlotte, Ken and Margie, Lucy and Daniel. What a list Father it never ends. You know the needs there is cancer and heart troubles. Basic needs where Peggy and Glen are concerned even a little comfort for them Father would be a huge blessing. Keep Peggy right in her mind as she try’s to deal with all of this. It’s so easy to want to just quit. We are not of that spirit so hold her up Father and do not let her fade away. Keep Linda Allen strong Father as well we don’t know all that she suffers Father but we know that you can mend a broken heart with time and courage. Janet and Mark continue to deal with family matters with Janet’s dad and Mark’s dad. Let them be where they need to be and do what they can to help those who depend upon them.

There is little time to be still and write these prayers down Father so I thank you for making it a priority to me to take that time. It is good to be with you for even a short while to think over the things that are important in this life and brake away to reflect on our needs and our blessings. I thank you for that small bank of time to pray. The things we have to do will always be there. Each day there is a need to be taken care of but nothing is more important than the prayers we send to you. Thank You for moments to reflect and pray.

Father, we ask it all is the strong and powerful name of our Lord Christ Jesus. May it be the spirit that lives in us day and night until you come or call us home. Let every moment of this life be to your glory. Amen……

A Friday the13th Prayer!!

Dear Heavenly Father

The rain comes in today and we have needed it. It’s cool and fresh and we are blessed to have this day. Thank you for changes that make things continue to grow where they might not if it wasn’t for the rain. God we thank you for it always. I want to thank you for all the blessing you have sent my way this March 13th . Many phone calls got answered and I got to be home for a while today to take care of some much needed work on the computer and phone. I was falling behind but this day brought me back into focus on those matters. Thank you for the time to make it happen this way. Problems can be taken care of if you just have some time to do it so Thank you for the time I had this Friday morning.

Father, as always there are concerns. Glen Hemmingway is on our hearts he needs you this very minute to comfort him and release some of his pain. He doesn’t seem to ever get a break from the heart aches of this life. Be with them Father as the walk in this world is heavy and hard. Be with Sandra she is showing such a remarkable strength but we all know that it’s not easy for her. Hold her tight and do not let her fall to depression where there should be none in the victory of Brad’s life and death. Be with Jenny and all of them for as long as it takes.

Walk me through another day of working at the building Father. It’s hard to know what to say or do sometimes and I just pray it’s your will that is done. I know we are your voice and your workers so let it be seen in very thing that is done. When sharp words are spoken let me have the answers to those concerns with the tender hearted voice you would want used to address those who don’t understand why some things are being done like they are. Touch their hearts Father and let them see the bigger picture that is going to touch souls. We are doing all of this Father only to be servants to see that your teaching can continue to those who need you. Let all of us who are working keep that in the forefront of their minds until we are completely done. Let us not grow weary in what we are trying to do. Programs that are dropped can be restarted and when your will for that to happen comes Lord I know you will supply the right people for those jobs. Sometimes I don’t always understand why something works and other things do not but I know your hand lays in that choice always. Father, I respect your will in all matters let it be as you would have it. If harsh words are spoken to me because of it let me give comfort to those who don’t understand. Father, I will always be on your side and try to conduct myself in a manner that will bring honor to your name. Do not let me fall to humanness while I do your work.

I pray it all in the strong and powerful name of our Lord and savior. Keep us whole Father until you come or call us home let it all be for your honor and glory. Amen.

Bunko......

Dear Heavenly Father

Thank you, for the blessings of yesterdays work. It was hard to know what to do that day but I think with the tile coming up so easily and us spotting the wet floor under it… the message was clear to take away what was old and damaged and replace it. Thank you for insight! Thank you for those who came and helped. We trust in your favor Lord and know that you guide the work at the building. Let me always be keen to listen to that guidance. Help us to know how to dispose of the old tiles in a way that will do no harm to our environment or the people working with those materials. Father, you know that I am tired but we are gathering with the ladies tonight for Bunko and I just need you to keep me on task to make that a blessing for all of those who come. It’s a blessed time when our ladies get together and have fellowship and fun with each other. Sandra Wims has been asked to come so Lord lay it on her heart to know that better and more relaxed times are possible in the fellowship she can find with her sisters in Christ. Let us all be there for Sandra to help her back into a more balanced life. Also, for Karen V. as she struggles with her up coming surgery. She’ll try to be there as well so it’s important that this event go well for the sisters that come with more on their minds and hearts than playing a game. Let us all be Jesus to them at this point in time. Our ladies are Linda, Barbie, Geanie, Janet, Sheryl, Pam, Lynne, Melinda, Jeannine, Ann, Nan, Sue, Betty, Karen, Pat, Portia, Debbie, and all the others from the other Bunko group, Karen G. Shirley, Cindy, MariJane, Gina, all of them bless them with a fun evening out.

Father, be with Roland as he is working harder and harder. He is a good man and I want to bring him to you in prayer that he might be strong and finish the good work you have put in his heart. It is such a blessing to our family to have him and I thank you everyday for putting this good man in my life to share my walk with you. Let me be the helper you want me to be so that I support him in every way and bring it to my attention if I am not doing everything a wife should do for her husband to make him feel complete and loved.

I praise your name Father and hold you on high till the last day. Keep us safe as we travel into Houston today. Be with those who can not see the light enough to pray or fight the demons that harm them. Let me close with thoughts of a kingdom where there are no tears. I pray it all in the blessed, strong and powerful name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Till the Storm Passes By Page 546

Dear Heavenly Father

Time has passed without words of prayer, but unspoken prayers are always in my heart. It is your wisdom that I seek and daily I know that you watch over me. Thank you Lord for the protection of your love. My life is in total dedication to you Father and I want to thank you for the current information that I am reading that is bring me more and more into your will. You are a God worthy of all praise and I humbly come to you this day with prayers. There has been a birth into your kingdom Father our friends have lost a son in death and we ask you to watch over Sandra and David Wims, Jane and Bill Hana and Ruby Peterson, Brad’s dear wife and friend Jenny, his children comfort them Father and do not take your eyes off of them till this storm passes from them. Your name is honored by all the attention brought to it by the suffering of this family and we know that in your way there is for a reason that will only complete your plan. Death comes to us all and I pray that in it we can complete the circle of life that brings us all home to you. Keep all of us safe as we make our way home. Let there be some rest for those who suffer the vindictiveness of lost life. There is never a word from human lips that can help them who hurt so deeply it is to your hand to send them comfort Father and we beg it in the sacrifices of our Lord Jesus for this family.

Father, there is much work to be done for your will on this earth, we are seeking always in study and prayer for you to guide us. Give us the strength and ability to keep moving forward. There is a wicked spirit that seems to be bringing us down and we ask relief from its hold! These names come to mind this morning Glen and Peggy Hemmingway, Cheri Simmons, Hanna as she faces the daunting task of taking medical test, Darla, Sonny Goode as he goes to preach your word in Rockport. Karen Vasquez will face another surgery soon, Robert Johnson is recovering from back surgery, Candis Newton, Geraldine McLean, Melinda and Steve, Myrtle, Susan, Darlene, Mickey. Linda and Harold Allen, Al and Cindy, Debra and Roland, Jean Collins, Father walk beside her. There are a thousand names calling to you every moment and it’s a blessing because we know you hear our cries for help. Be with these Father that need you today. We are just all trying to stay strong in our walk back to You.

Father, you know my heart and you know that it is even so important to me to always give everything I can so keep me tempered and tested that it is for you that I do the things that I do and let nothing of my personality fade the glory of your work. Keep my mind protected and guard me from evil thoughts. Be with every action I take and help me to watch my words carefully so they are only a reflection of what you would have me say. Let me not engage in anything that would be displeasing in your sight. Let me always be open and giving. It is a blessing from you and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve others under you guidance. You have given me this heart and this work and I am grateful for all of it. I praise your name every moment that I am healthy and can do these things with vigor and vest. Let me be ever mindful of the blessings I have received at your kind hand to have let me loose the weight that was such a burden to me. Let me never forget the work it took and the reward it bears for me now in a healthy body. Keep me on track Father as more work is needed to maintain this gift do not let me ever forget what it was like before this gift was given to me. I respect the fact that it might not have gone as well if your hand was not upon it. Guide me on as I need to loose another 40 pounds to be where I would like to be. If it’s your will and my health will benefit let it be so for me Father.

Watch over us today as we walk in this world. Protect us Father and let nothing evil enter into our hearts. Keep us in your good favor as we work at the church building and let it give honor to your holy name. May the things that are done there be done to honor you and make you known. Keep the men working together and focused until it is finished. They come time and time again and we are blessed because they are not giving out on the work. Bless their lives Father and keep them safe.

In closing as I always hate to do I asked it all in the strong and bold name of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior forever…….Amen…….

Till the Storm Passes By
In the dark of the midnight I have oft hid my face, while the storm howls above me, and there’s no hiding place. Mid the crash of the thunder, precious Lord, hear my cry; Keep me safe till the storm passes by.

Till the storm passes over, till the thunder sounds no more,
till the clouds roll forever from the sky,
Hold me fast; let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand.
Keep me safe till the storm passes by.

Many times Satan whispered, “There is no need to try, For there’s no end to sorrow, there’s no hope by and by.” But I know Thou art with me, and tomorrow I’ll rise Where the storms never darken the skies.

Till the storm passes over, till the thunder sounds no more,
till the clouds roll forever from the sky,
Hold me fast; let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand.
Keep me safe till the storm passes by.

When the long night has ended and the storms come no more, Let me stand in Thy presence on that bright peaceful shore. In that land where the tempest never comes, Lord may I Dwell with Thee when the storm passes by.

Till the storm passes over, till the thunder sounds no more,
till the clouds roll forever from the sky,
Hold me fast; let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand.
Keep me safe till the storm passes by.
