Trusting in Your will Today Lord.........

Father

Today as always I am grateful for a way to express myself to Your will. I am hopeful for understanding today and for ways to resolve ongoing problems that are causing me a great deal of tension. You bless me everyday Father with knowledge and You keep a other wise nasty temper at bay and I know it’s Your hand on my shoulder that keeps me in check so before I take any action today I am coming to my heavenly Father for advice and Lord if it is not in Your will for me to do what I plan today lay that knowledge on my heart and stop anything that would cause harm. My words can cut so deeply that it becomes a way of manipulation to get what I want at the expenses of another. Father I am having a great deal of conflict with a sister in Christ and it is affecting my spiritual work for Your church. It seems that nothing I say makes a difference so Lord what are the words I need what is the path to take? I know my plans Father but I would much rather use Yours. Just be with me keep me in Your will and let me be mindful that everybody has needs that they seek to be addressed. There are heartaches everywhere so when I address someone let it be with love and kindness so no hard feelings develop. Give peace in this matter Father for it affects what I am willing to do for Your church and Father You come first in all things so if it’s time to back off let that be and if not Father don’t let the call for me to go to work because I have work in Your church and I know it needs to be done first and formost. I don’t need a job Father You have provided for everything so do not let this bump cause me to withdraw from working at the church because of a conflict. I am a full grown woman in both body and mind and I have dealt with more than most people in dealing with difficulty and conflict with people. I am not timid Father when I speak and You know the harm in that as You often bind my tongue. I thank You Father because it was in You that I found a great relief in thinking it but not saying it. Father I can be quite harsh and I can be quite selective in people. I try my best to be open and accommodating but Father You know I am not. It creates limitations that I don’t really want but don’t seem to be able to control. I pray it is Your hand and guidance and not my stubborn will. Just be with me Father walk these days with me hand in hand and give me the right methods to take care of this before harm is done that is not repairable.

Father be with those I love today, keep them safe, watch their walk and keep them under Your guidance. Be with Mark Goode as he protects our country, be with Lois Allen and give her comfort. Be with the eldership as they deal with matters that concern Your church. Let this issue be completed with the hurricane and the contractors. Give us a way to move forward and without conflicts that will weigh us down. Let the good continue that was started at the first of this year. Your hand is on Your church Father we can see it and let us all honor and glorify You in our words and actions. If we need to be strong willed and express ourselves if it’s for Your glory to make our church here better give us the ability to be bold enough to move forward and bless us with a first fruits church if it is Your will.

I pray to You Father today with the unique opportunity of calling on You by the sacrifices of Your Son Christ Jesus for it is in the love for You that I asked it all with thanksgiving. Only in You is there this provision………Amen

Heavenly Father King of all Kings

I spent a very early morning in Your word. Father, I realize You are the answer to all of this life’s worries. There is peace and hope and real power in Your ways. Father, thank you for the correction You send to us in Your word. Let us be mindful Father of how short sighted we are to refuse Your correction. We are not going to find a firm footing in this life without You. We are chasing whims of our own. Thinking we’ll find the right way to handle these things that break us down on our own. Forgive us Father because we know that is wrong. It’s not possible and I know that there is no satisfaction coming when we try to handle the problems of this life without You. I seem to fight the same battles day after day and it feels like a smoke screen of deceit. I loved my week-end away it was so beautiful to be in nature. I thank you for the ability to do such things. I know it’s Your gift to comfort the heartaches that I have and it’s Your way of telling me hold firm these things I fight are temporary. You always give me a path that is bright so that I will not loose my way in this darkness. I think You know better than any the heartaches of loosing a well fought fight. I am trusting in You for the satisfaction that will come when these days are no more and the evil of this world is over. Father, I will not be headstrong and I will call upon Your name and the sacrifices of my Lord to help me through my disappointments no evil can over come when we stand with Your light guiding our path. Rash words cut and main but there is healing in the words You have left for us so Father let our hearts embrace those words and hold them close to our hearts. Father, let us find a freedom in our work, do not let us broadcast our stupidity so evil can overcome us. Keep us all as children who are willing to listen to our Heavenly Father. Lead us into helpful conversations as careless talking could ruin everything. Help us to overcome the temptation to just scream! Give us the ability to have a steady diligence to endure whatever this life throws at us. Unrelenting disappointments leave us heartsick with worry but in Your hand Father there could be a sudden turn around, a good break directed by Your will not mine. Tear it down for me brick by brick so I can understand it is Your will that I must accept and not my own. Watch the steps of my adult children Father sometimes their actions are such a slap in the face. I know You know the feeling it’s such an insult and it leaves our emotions out in the cold so give me a deeper understanding and a slowness to anger because what I see and think may not be the way it is at all. The evil one has for years left me feeling powerless with these browbeaten lies. Stockpile in me Your love Father and let it come out in my actions toward every person I have to deal with. Everyone is fighting their own battle and I know You are alert to the good and the evil that goes on. It is a mark of good sense to use kind healing words guided by Your hand. Misspent lives go bankrupt after such a long while of not being able to turn things around so knowing You can read the human heart if it’s Your will Father make the corrections and let these prayers be genuine so they might reach You and give You delight that I call upon You. Your perceptive words can spread knowledge in us that will calm and heal the broken. Sadness makes it hard to get through our days and a miserable heart leads to a miserable life so give us the love for a simple life that is not pretensions or arrogant. Send an angel to deliver us from every evil. Forgive us of our sins and do not refuse to correct our misdirection. Love Your children by disciplining them. Send the Holy Spirit into the hearts of those who have a sad heart, those who might feel forgotten, and those who think they still stand outside the door even after they have knocked. Don’t let them believe the lie of the evil one who tells them Your love is not for them.

Father, bless our church, bless those who have taken Your ways on in baptisms. Help the work that is going on in Your house. A new breath of life is at work there and we thank You for the love and hope You are sending our way. Bless and be with our leadership help us follow the guidance of these men. Give us humbled hearts and new acceptance to be able to follow Your will for this church. Father, watch over Mark Goode and all who sever to keep this country safe. Be with the leaders of this country and if they don’t follow Your will Father strike them down with a might blow. I beg for Your hand to be on this nation for it is in You that I trust and only You. Save us Father from our greed.

Father please deliver us let our prayers be heard by the name and sacrifices of Your son Christ Jesus for it is in His holy name that we can pray. Amen.

207 Another Day in Prayer

Heavenly Father Most High

Father we were able to enjoy a calm day with some good cooking and nice company. It was an easy flowing day that doesn’t come often. I appreciated the everydayness of it all. I thank you Father for days like these not over burdened with work or worry but enough to keep me busy and active. I remembered a few important things today and got them done. Father, Roland and I are taking a week-end away and we really need it due to the pressure he has been under so I thank you that it is possible for us to take this time away from everything. Be with us while we travel and make sure Debra is cared for while we are away. Watch over her Father and help her be able to handle the house while we are away. Let her take good care of Cinnamon and the things she needs to do at church with the trays. She has been doing a good job with that Father and I want her to continue for it is a reminder of why we go to this church and why we act as we do toward it.

Father I don’t have any request today for I know that you are with Mark Goode, and those I pray for daily. I need not beg Your watch I know it is there. I sometimes pray it for my comfort and not because You need it prayed over and over. It’s a reminder for me as well to take these people into consideration each and everyday and do what I can to make their lives better and productive. Father, I do believe we are Your hands and feet and Your voice is heard in our actions so let them be acceptable in Your sight.

Father, with all my heart I humble myself and drop at Your feet for all the blessing in my life. Forgive the sins that are within me and let my life be a living sacrifice for You. Keep me with You Father and remove any and all fear that I have in me. Keep me moving forward and never to go back to things in the past. Be with me always Father for it is You and Your will that I seek daily in these prayers. It is in the glory of Your son that I pray in the name of Jesus …until it ends here or You come for us let us be ready to hear Your call………Amen

Dear Heavenly Father

Thank you for a day scattered with much needed rains. Thank you for a nice cup of coffee in a cup sent to me by friends. Thank you for those dear friends that remembered me with a small gift. Thank you for a husband that loves me and a home that I am comfortable in even during rough times. Thank you for the constant message of salvation for all peoples in all times. Thank you for Your word. Thank you for hope… help me to take possession of it and treat it like the gift that it is. Thank you for every good thing in this life and the protection from those things that are not so good, from the evil we face daily. Father help me to bow down to Your will over mine. Father I ask you to let me hear the cries from those who need help. Let the things that I know in Your love be and provide and accessible backdrop to the Bible narrative that You have given us.

Father, I am asking again for your watch over some today. Roland, Lois Allen, Mark Goode, Karen, Robbie, Debra, Ella, Pat, Janet and Mark, Ricki, Darla, Amber, Big Mike, Dorothy and Bubba, Sonny, David and Kim, Bo and Shirley, Harold and Linda, Pat, Mike and Liz, Jane and Bill those who we love and wish only the best this life has for them. Watch over our Harvey and calm his needs Father, hard choices are still hard choices but in life we have to act so let him have comfort and growth in his journey. Give him peace. Be with Rebecca and Jack lead them Father with Your will and hand. We are all at cross roads from day to day let us all make the right choices to benefit our lives and Your church. Be with our eldership Father when they make a choice let us be supportive of them and honor the hard work they do. Stretch out our love toward them and let them be at peace with this great service that they have taken on. Father we know that they have to do this willingly and they have choice not to be servants and let us honor the fact they do serve. There would be no balance or growth without leadership so let us be mindful of the things we do in regards to these men.

Keep all of us safe Father, our country is facing a most difficult time. Pray for our leaders of this nation. Put conviction in the hearts of those who believe in You to move forward with boldness to save our Christian nation. We know if You withdraw from us Father our faith and civilization in cradled in the balance of harms way. Do not let us become a barren land and do not with hold Your living water. Make us a cultivatable land that will only supply new growth and hope to our nation. Forgive those who can’t see You in the future of this country. Give us a vast public Father that will call upon Your name. Take Control I beg it in the sacrifices of Your son. In His name I ask it boldly.

Father as I close this prayer with thanksgiving for all I see in You. I want to honor Your son by praying it all in His name for Your glory and power forever………Amen

Thank You Lord for Loving Me.........

Jehovah

Father, today with so many questions and not enough answers I just come again and again asking for mercy and for Your grace because I know it lies with You and I am grateful for that knowledge. It is extremely comforting to know You are with us even in these dark days. It’s also a great comfort to know they don’t have to all be dark days when we can approach You with our problems, our hurts and our needs. Thank You for relief because it exceeds my expectations each and everyday. I think about what it might be like if there was no hope at all and there is no way to describe how that would affect us as a human race. I think we already see places and people in which on this earth Father that there is no hope if it be Your will Father send consolation.

Yesterday Father, I didn’t post a prayer due to my swimming head of pain medications but today is much better and the worst of the aches have left me. Thank You Father for getting me through that brief spell and for the healing that is coming my way. Teeth problems have always been there for me but thank You for having me in a place where I could have insurance and enough to cover bills that come along with these matters. It’s a huge concern when you can’t or don’t have enough money to cover these things when they come up and Father there are many who are in that place so even with my comfort in my situation I pray for all of those who have health and medical problems that don’t get addressed in the manner that they should because of the sky high prices that go along with that care. Changes are being made in our government to help and I pray it into Your hands Father that relief will come to those who are really in need and not just another blank check for the greedy. Sometimes we don’t see the need but it sits right in our back yards as well as overseas. Let us be mindful to do what we can to help those who are in need. Don’t let it cause resentment when we have to give over and above our comfort zones.

Father, each and everyday I send prayers to You in the behalf of Mark Goode and all those who serve this country with their sacrifices, all of those who have in the past. For parents who wont see their sons and daughters coming home, Father I can only imagine the pain of that but let them all be reassured by the fact that You see and know the sacrifices and You will bless those who give all to country and their fellow man. Guide the hearts and minds of those who deal with these matters.

Father, be with Lois Allen today just walk with her Father and let her know you are beside her daily. Keep her spirits up and let her feel the love we all have for her.

Father, be with Roland his work load is heavy and so is his heart. He hasn’t had to deal with such problems in a long time and he hates conflicts of any kind so it weighs more heavily on him than it really should. With so many problems outside of the work place it spills over into the work place and tensions are running at an all time high. People are fearful of loosing their jobs and it makes them frustrated in their thinking and judgments so even the smallest thing set them off. Put a shield around those who work together with strong expectations put upon them to always deliver. Give them the ability to do exactly what is needed and to answer the questions with practical thought and consideration. Help them to work together and not against each other.

Father it is in the sweet name of Jesus I come with a humbled heart each day asking for things I know You are already addressing. Things I know You are already aware of and taking care of. Father so now I am laying it at Your feet with confidence in You knowing all is going to be alright under Your watch. Until You come or call us home ………Amen

Evil will never win.........

Dear Heavenly Father

Father there is a new blessing in Your will for our lives everyday. Thank you for letting that be seen. Thank you for family and for friends. Thank you for the enjoyable time I was able to share last night with the ladies at church playing bunko and having great fellowship. I thank you for a building with air conditioners that work, lights, space and all the amenities we enjoy in that place. I am ever aware Father that You provided the ability for our church to have such a nice room for our fellowship meetings. I thank You for all the blessing that will take place there. It is in this space our church will grow and we’ll show the love we have for one another. Thank You Father for it all. Father please let our church be mindful of this and keep this space clear and clean so the blessing of being in Your church can be seen by every person who comes here.

Father, I am having a little surgery today just some oral work done on the tooth that I have already had so much done to trying to save. This is the tooth I had worked on in India so Father be with Dr. Hughes as he tries to section the bridge and repair the base. The work is different so I pray Father it will not break while they section it to remove the broken tooth under it. Watch over me Father while I am under their care. Let Roland and I have a safe trip to and from the doctors office.

Father, be with the Goode family today, be with Mark, be with Landry, Lisa and Micah. Be with the doctors that are caring for the burns Landry has suffered. That’s very painful for a child and very hard on parents to watch as a child hurts. Comfort them Father and bring them all home safe and whole. Give them peace of mind and strength.

Father, be with Karen Vasquez with her health and her work situation. Be with Donald Pratt as he needs more security in his work situation as well. Donald has a large family to support and Sue has some health issues as well as their children. They need their insurance and financial needs to stay secure. Help Debra as she is looking for a job and needing one to help her cope depression problems. Help get her through this and let her know she is worthy of a good life. Give her the ability to see the world differently and know she has a place and a duty here. Watch over Linda Allen and bless her with comfort as she still mourns the passing of her mother Barbara Bishop and as we know she is with You now Father let those left here be comforted by that knowledge. Be with Mari Jane Hammel as she’ll be facing surgery soon on her foot and it may cause her some difficulty with work and getting around so bless her with healing and a quick recovery. Watch over Robbie as he again faces difficult times and he finds himself once again in harms way. Protect him Father and for me I ask let no harm come his way. Be with Ricki Lane Father as changes are coming her way help her be accepting of those changes. Be with Roland always Father and he is our base and our strength and we depend on him Father to be our provider for this family. Let him have the abilities he needs to do this for all of us and let us be there to support and love him while he makes these efforts.

Father, for the shooting victims in Mont Belvieu, for the officers that were lost. Be with the family. It seems to have affected many in our church family and we knew these people so look after the cause Father and do what can be done by Your power to comfort those who will and have suffered greatly due to this misfortunate act. Be with Pam Leggett and her family. Be with those who were in contact with these people and give them rest and understanding. Let us not dwell on the desolate waste but on healing and relief for those who will forever be affected by this loss of life, this crushing blow to their potential. There are no human words that will give any reprieve so Father we beg it for them in Your sons sacrifices. In the ability for mercy and forgiveness that is only by Your will.

Father, closing today and thanking you for everything continue in all of us who seek you and let us continue to stay strong in You. In the powerful and strong name of Jesus we pray it all into Your hands……Amen

Some Days are just Better than others.......

Dear Heavenly Father

Some days are just better than others and I thank You for the changes and the revelations that come from that. We are seeking you daily and when we see You at work in our own mist, touching the lives of those we love and care for it is just an awesome experience and I thank You for moments like these. Yesterday was one of those days. A day we could all be proud of in our Christian walk.

Father, I want to thank you for the ones being brought to you in obedience and baptism. Alexa Holleman, Marissa Dunn, Father with their youth they will have a long walk in Your service be with them always and guide them. Remind them daily it was for the remission of their sin. Keep them and guard their youth so they will not be pulled away by earthly desires.

Father I will be bringing before You regularly Mark Goode. Daily Father keep watch over this young man, he is being sent to war at the end of this month to fight for the freedoms of our nation and others he doesn’t even know. Protect his mind, keep him focused, cover him with Your shield and protect him from all enemies. I beg Your special favor on this young man and all who give so much of themselves for their country. Father I don’t understand war, I do not understand why this has to be so as I pray for Mark and his family console my heart as well and help me as I try not to lean upon my own understanding of these matters. I ask You Father let no harm come to Mark Goode as he assist his country. Be with all our American military.

Father, you blessed us with knowing the heart of Carl Collins. He is a fine man who has supported and protected his wife. As times grow dim for them and the burden become harder and harder to bear comfort and send aid to both of them. Lift the load from Carl’s shoulders as heartaches become confusions and dismay. Walk with him through all that he has to endure and let him hear the words of your promise and not the lies of the evil one. Keep him bonded and whole in every moment.

Father, be with Glen and Peggy Hemmenway as Glen faces each day not knowing what it will bring. Be with his eye surgeries and related matters. Help them adjust to their new home and the move there. Give Peggy the strength to endure a longer drive to work, comfort her Father as only You can during this atrocious time. Let her know Father that even things that go on for a long time they do end and battles are won. Keep her in the vale of Your word. Protect them both from the evil one.

Father, as for my own house keep us thankful, grateful for Your power, thankful that we know You and even though matters for us are not within my understanding I know that Your plan is the plan of life here and eternally. Keep my mind whole and protect me from harmful dreams, unproductive thoughts and numbers. Do not let me fall into fruitless, barren prayers for matters turned over to you long ago. What is in the past let it forever remain there. Help me to listen closely as You take control over all that concerns me at this time. I trust Your guidance on all matters and Father I know you will quieten the restlessness and the expectations that I know will not come. Let me be compliant of all that You guide me to do. Let me be at peace with these choices.

In matters of thanksgiving Father bless our preacher David, his wife Kim. He keeps bringing to the table each Sunday the bread of life for your sheep. His work makes us think, helps us to see Your glory in action. Father, I know it can not be easy but David never fails to offer us something thought provoking every time he speaks we know it is not his words but Yours. Thank you Lord for this selected vessel. Thank You for him and his family’s ability to serve Your church. Guide, guard and protect them as they serve Your church and let us always be mindful of the blessings that we receive because of their willingness to serve Your church. Let us help them, support them and lift them up so they may continue and know the efforts are a blessing and they bring a message of hope we are all seeking so desperately to hear. Continue to lead David as he preaches Jeremiah.

Sovereign Lord Most High

Father everyday I am a seeker for your words. Everyday is a day to read to study and to take in the glory You have left for Your people. I am seeking a brilliant light in a very dark world but Father I know it’s there because of Your promise. I know with all my heart Father that our sins were paid for and put upon Your son for our mercy and I thank you Father for the relief that comes with that knowledge. Thank you Father for the Holy Spirit that guides us daily in our walk with You. Give me this day accountability and turn me from any evil ways that I might have. Warn me and be a watchman over my will so that I might do everything in accordance to Yours. Rebuke any negative host that are inside of my thinking today and everyday. I want to listen to You I want to bear whatever the Spirit asked me to bear. Father I need to be more accepting of other for I can not know the burdens that come with a rebellious mind or a broken heart. Take any bitterness, any spirit of anger and turn it into endurance and tolerance. Help us Father to save ourselves for this evil world and do not let us buy in to the lies that harm us. Weigh out each day my burdens and let me be a survivor due to Your kindness and mercy. Give us all a holy sanctuary in which we can lay everything at the cross of hope and at the feet of Jesus. Father according to my conduct I know there is judgment so let it be as You would have it and not as I would. Father do not let me be proud or unforgiving of others. Lord, I ask a lot today and I know that You have assigned me these task, You have set the boundary lines and You are also the one who has give the promises and inheritance for those who love you and keep Your counsel. I love you, Lord You are my strength so hear these prayers and don’t let any of these request come from a deceitful heart. Keep me ever as a servant and surround me with Your glory.

Father, I ask for Your power to strengthen the lives of some today that are seeking prayers in their behalf. Donna and Eddie Dee’s are asking prayers for her mother who is not doing well. Do all you can to comfort and calm them during this time. Let them endure this heartache with Your mercy and deliver them unto Your peace. Do not let them be shaken and let them all seek refuge in You.

Father, I will be satisfied with Your will in the lives of Robbie and Debra and I will continue to bring them before Your guidance to confront their actions and behaviors. Lord by Your hand rescue them from this world and let us cherish the life You have given. Protect Your children and surround us with knowledge to know what are the right choices in their lives. I give it all to You Father for in you I take my direction and apart from You I have nothing. Hide any heartaches I have in Your shadow do not let them ever be seen or acknowledged.

A special prayer for Roland as he is working long hard hours under difficult conditions. Lead him to know the right answers at work and at home. Give him peace in knowing he does all that is in his power and no more is needed than that. Father, he is a good provider and a good husband let that rest in his heart and give him comfort. When demands are so high for performance to be at a max sometimes we don’t see that we really are at the top of the mark already. It is the world that pushes us to go beyond limits when there is really no need to do so.

Father, hear my pleas for it is in the strong, powerful and eternal name of Jesus that I pray it all into Your will for justification and hope. May Your eyes see what is right and bless us with Your love……..Amen

I was blind but now I see.........

Dear sweet Father

As I come to you in prayer I daily seek your will for my life. There is something powerful in knowing that all things can be laid at your feet at the beginning of each new day. Thank you for the peace that is in that knowledge. Thank you for I have found mercy in the hope of the Messiah the sweet Lamb of God. I can do nothing by myself so I seek to pick up my mat and walk because I believe you make it possible. Father there is rolling thunder today and a promise of rain. We need that rain as the yards are dying and the roses that I love so dearly brown before even opening because of the heat. My white ones don’t have a chance without some relief from this heat. Bless us with some much needed rain Father.

Father, be with those who are hurting today, those who just don’t seem to be able to get any relief from the heartaches of this life. Be with Peggy and Glen, Robbie and Debra. Bubba Rouse. Karen Vasquez. Lois Allen. Morgan Williams. Eddie Birdwell. Carol Fabian and her son. Janet and Mark Dolecki. Nathlie Carroll. The Lorfing family. Denise Webb. Father I see things go on with these that only you can be entrusted for their need. Look down on us all Father and know that those of us that can pray bring these that are in need before you asking in their behalf for the work of your hand to be upon their lives. You have given us your word Father that you are the bread of life and those who come to you will never go hungry and those that believe will never be thirsty. Father let us all believe that into the very last day so that even if there is no relief in this life there will be relief somewhere and that these matters are only temporary. Let each of us find the mercy of your saving grace in our hope for eternal life. The work for us is this: believe in the one He has sent let us do that with all that we have in us Father. We no longer need miraculous signs so that we may believe for we have your scriptures to guide us so Father seal our minds with these written words. Protect us from the lies of this world and from its evil forces. Send the Holy Spirit to make sure we do not get tangled in the ways of the world. Enable us all Father who seek you to find our way. Teach me daily Father to take up the cross and bear whatever this world brings so that I will remain in you all the days of my life, no matter what happens on this earth. Father, keep me in your word and Your presence daily let my heart be always aware to hear Your direction.

I pray it all in the strong power of the name of Jesus. Amen

July 4, 2009.......May God Bless Our Country

Father, My Lord and King

Today I just want to thank you Lord for the mercy of your love. You are merciful to those who are in doubt and those who struggle daily to find their way. You are able to protect even those who continue to seek but don’t seem to be able to find the right ways. You have given power and authority through Jesus Christ for us to pray into that name so we can know your presence in this current darkness. Thank you for hope when there seems to be no hope. Forever more I will ask you to watch over my son Robbie. I know you can turn away from those who abandoned their own faith and it brings me much heartache. I lean not upon my own understanding because I do not understand at all the unreasonable things that happen with both of my adult children. If nothing else Father give me the ability to accept what happens in this current life and cling ever nearer to You so that I will have the ability to persevere and have the knowledge to do what is right in all things concerning my own family. Father when we follow our own ungodly desires that divides us and causes mixed fears just forgive me Father and lead me in the right direction. Snatch us out of the fire and show us mercy, forgive us when we sin. Build faith in me daily Father and send the Holy Spirit to seal my faith in You. Keep me in Your love as I wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring peace in this current situation. Father only in you can we be protected from falling victims to the lies this world feeds us daily do not let our hearts be dissolved and hardened by the evil one. There is no advantage in falling into this trap. Remind me daily that I must be convicted to Your word until You bring us back home and for the days when we will have eternal life in Your glory.

Father, be with the ones we prayed for last week during the campaign. Keep us safe over the Forth of July weekend. Watch over Your children during this time let no harm come to those who love You. Give us a spirit of love and self-discipline. Watch over Your church Father, bless our eldership and workers.

It is in the power of Your sons name that I pray everything unto His name.……..Amen

Our Last Day but not Our last effort..........

El Elyon

There are many names used to describe you Father but today I call upon the name that says you are the God Most High over the earth. You are the goodness that provides us with health, life, love and prosperity and I thank you for it all in whatever measure you give. You are light and in you I can find no darkness so each day I come to you with a humble heart that is grateful and blessed because I live in your perfect plan and in you there is grace and mercy. I thank you Father for that confidence for it carries me through days I don’t really understand and it answers for me the questions I have sometimes as to why things are like they are. Our church Father is in a campaign praying for our nation, our community and individuals. The numbers are really hard for me to grasp and the need is overwhelming. They are just asking for some relief from this life’s present troubles when I drive down the streets of the place where I live I wont be able to drive by those houses blind anymore because this has revealed to me that behind every door the knowledge of Your love is needed. Those people that are beyond the walls of the church need to know there was an atoning sacrifice and that this is not the end of the story. It is my hope and my prayer on this last day we will do all we can to reach the last few that will open their door. We have this love in us Father to reach them because you planted seeds in us long ago please water them today and don’t let us grow faint on this last day… hold us to our work that will deliver Your message.

Yesterday I was able to speak with Richard and Rita again. They didn’t come last night Father and I was so hopeful they would but I also know that Your timing is perfect and we prayed for them knowing that anything we ask according to Your will You have heard us. So bless them Father and stay with them and continue to work with them. Comfort and direct their steps Father and because they might not know the direction to take let me bring them before you everyday for healing, peace and comfort. Thank you Father for all that you do.

Father if we are weak make us stronger, give us the right knowledge to know what to say, when to act and how to not react to things that are happening around us. Our actions are a testimony to our love for You so let us be forgiving in our nature, to look beyond what we see on the surface and to touch lives in a way that makes things better and not more difficult. Each of us bears burdens that no one knows but us so for those things we hold inside of us that could be comforted if only we could let it go give each and everyone of us that ability.

Father, I thank you for a good week, I thank you for the blessing of seeing Your words at work in our membership and in others. Thank you for the men who came with Leland Rogers. Thank you for sending some young people to walk those doors and to start building for the next generation. Ashley, Jessica, Tyler, Jasmine, Ariel we’ll come to depend on them someday to carry on when we can not so let us groom all of our young people into people that will not forget Your atoning sacrifices for our sins, Your mercy and grace.

Father, keep us safe, keep our hearts sealed from the lies of the evil one, give us understanding and love for each other. Keep some of our ladies under Your watchful eye….. Ricki Lane, Linda Allen, Geanie Ballard, Shirley Cox, Karen Goode, Cindy Rieck, Darla Plunkett, Kim Ellis, Kristen Fagala, Lois Allen, Janet Dolecki, Bonnie Dutton, Rebecca Zaun, Lucy Rouse, Debra Sims, Denise Webb, Anne Young, Pat Schultz, Liz Miller, Patti Barnett and myself. Your scriptures tell us no one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. Make us ever mindful of those words. Help us because we are Your testimony to the world.

Thank you for the avenue of prayer Father for it is made available to us by the sacrifice of Your son so in His strong and powerful name save our dying land and hear our prayers. Amen
