Angel Hugs......June 30 2009....Day 6

Holy Father

What a blessed morning! Thank you for the rain we had last night and the happiness it brought along with it. Thank you for a wonderful service at the park last night and for singing that is just wonderful and uplifting to the soul. For such a small group it sounds really good to hear them lift up voices to your praise. God it is so good to know that we are your children and that you keep us safe while we are out there trying to reach others. You bless us greatly by the events we are getting to experience, it shows us Father that we do have a purpose here and that the need for sharing what we have in you is greater than ever. We know that the whole world is under the control of the evil one but You are greater than he and You have sealed my heart with this knowledge and understanding in a way I don’t quite understand but totally accept. I know that we must seek always to take Your healing message to people who don’t have it and Father I ask you with a humbled heart give any means you can to see that I and others who are around me do what you ask. We ask of You everyday to heal to help but let us also be there for the victory of sending out your word. Send Your Holy Spirit to touch the hearts of us all to give everything we have to testify the love that Christ has for us. Free us from all fear that would prevent us from finding those who seek you and help us lead them to a gate that will lead them back to You.

Father, be with Richard and Rita they will forever by on my heart and what I experience with them yesterday will be with me for the rest of my life. In all of my years I have never gone to a stranger and offered prayers. We were in the hot sun on a tennis court but in that moment I realized You sent me out there and the need was real. I will be ever mindful to seek prayers for them, to bring them daily under your watch for their health, for their healing, for relief of their pain for the doctors to do the very best they can to get Richard back on his feet and walking with his prosthetic leg. What happened to them Father was a tragic blow and they need someone praying daily that person will be me. Every one who has been reached by the campaign lets us know that the need is ever growing and great. Time can’t be wasted so send us the man power that we need to fight for You and the words we need to make real changes in the lives of those who suffer. We know the One who is truth and light let us be ever mindful to share that information with others who have not been so blessed.

Father, thank you for Sonny Goode’s report that he didn’t have a stroke. That was a blessing and we are very glad for that information. Let the doctors tend to him and find out what the problems are and get him some relief from this present trouble. Watch over this family and keep them under your protection.

Father, today I am asking a blessing for Ricki Lane, soften her heart and let her know she is loved. Let her relax and be comforted. Restore her heart and release her from hurt feeling and disappointments.

Father, Janet and Mark need your watchful eye as they still suffer with family matters. Be with Janet in her heartaches for her father and the troubles with Mark’s mom. Give them peace and prevail in all that they need.

Father, watch over Roland I know there is trouble in his heart and worry on his mind but he protect me for knowing what is really wrong. It’s just his way of dealing with things but let him know that I am his wife and I will help and understand this present trouble if he’ll just share it and not harbor the troubles alone. Be with our adult children, Rob and Debra as they make there way. Debra becomes more and more fearful that she’ll not find another job and fear is what holds us in bondage so release that fear Father and help her to keep looking for work and keep her solid from the fears that would keep her in bondage.

Another day is out there Father another chance to do what is right in Your sight, guide us through it with the love you have for us. There is confidence when we approach You according to Your will so we pray it all in the power of the blood of Christ Jesus. Amen

Monday in Mont Belvieu........Thank You Lord

Heavenly Father

My first readings this morning said “And you experts in the law, woe to you, because you load people down with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them.” We the people of your church can get really comfortable in our own hope and sometime we forget Father we live in a dying world. Thank you and bless those who are going out in this heat to carry your message. It won’t get to those doors any other way and deep down we know that it is our duty to our faith to share it. It’s not easy Father to do this but the victory stands in the numbers of prayers we are able to pray. Thank you for all of the people who are willing to work at this to make something happen for your glory. I am amazed at the people who will share with a strange at the door the details of their lives and cry out for help and relief. I live in this area and I see huge homes and football games and you don’t really see the truth until you come to ask for it in prayers for relief. Kindle the hearts of our body and make them see the truth in this work. If we are all supportive of those who will go out even if it’s not quite our cup of tea at least those who can do this and are willing will have a return. Bless them Father and keep them safe while they do this work in the name of your son sacrifices.

Lord, be with Sonny Goode he is a dear friend and one of our own. He is washed in the blood of the lamb and has fallen to problems with his health. Maybe a stroke they are not sure yet but details are coming and we asked for the result to go in his and Karen’s favor. Watch over every hand that takes care of them and send them in the right direction for the help they need for him to get better. Send your saving grace and protect them both from this set back.

Give us all the keys to the knowledge to know what is best and guide us with your holy scriptures. Send the Holy Spirit to us at this time Father so we may be the most effective in everything we do at this time. Let us be supportive of each other and cast no doubted on the work you send us out to do. You go beyond the walls of the church building and we have to be willing as we are your voice to this hurting world. Protect us from the evil one and give him no ability to hinder our work for Your name.

Father, be with Ricki Lane soften her heart and give her what she needs to be a productive person in your church. Help her with the grandchildren’s needs and while she is with Tamar in her pregnancy. Protect her new baby and make both of them strong.

We love you Lord and we will lift our voice in praise to you again today so hear us and know that we beg you to stay by our sides as we do your work. We do not deserve the right to ask anything of you but we know in our hearts your mercy is always upon us. It is in the strong and powerful name of Jesus that we ask it all for your Glory. Amen

June 27 Saturday Mont Belvieu Day 3

A Prayer to my King

Today we face yet another day in this world and we need you Father to guide all that we do today. Thank you for each and every moment that we can be working in your service. Love us today Father and grant doors to be opened and souls to be saved. Your word tells us that we do not light a lamp to be hidden but we place it on its stand for the entire world to see. Let us have favor today as we continue to go out and asked people to pray. It’s hot it’s dry and these men and women who are going door to door need your hand upon them to keep them safe. You guard us Father and we seek it today more than most days. Each person who is seeking you Father let us find them. Father, be with David Ellis as he seeks to go beyond the walls of the physical church and grow. He leads your people Father so give him the right path. There is a light within him that should shine ever so brightly for the world to see by your grace and mercy let it be so.

Watch over Roland today as he takes his boat out. Father he needs some relaxing time as his work load is very heavy and the things he deals with keeps this family fed and our bills paid so give him a day of rest to enjoy life and calm him from the worry of this life. He is working cooking our hamburgers for the meal this afternoon so even though he takes some time for himself he has not forgotten your work must be done as well. Bless him Father and let him know that we treasure him. Comfort his heart and make him glad.

Father, take Debra and Robbie under your watch today and everyday. Let her medications work better for her and guide us in the right directions as we deal with them. Let us do what is right in your sight and let us not lean upon our own understanding. You have put every soul here for a reason and I trust you will help us to help them find their way. Keep all of us strong in you and protect our health and well being.

Father, I just want to thank you for prayer and the avenue of grace that is possible because we can pray in the name of Jesus. Relief comes when we unburden ourselves in this way and we have hope. There is not much if we do not have hope. Everything in this life is a test upon us and we seek you until the day there is rest. We pray to you in the strong name of your son Christ Jesus. Bless us today and be with us as we carry out your work. ……..Amen

June 25th Day 2 Mont Belvieu

Jehovah All Mighty God

I always come to you humbled by the glory of your work. Each morning is a day to be treasured under your guidance. I want to thank you for the success of yesterday’s campaign in Mont Belvieu for the doors that were opened, for the strong souls that walked hot streets to carry this message that prayer works. Father, you blessed us with some cooling rain, some good fellowship and with hope for souls that are lost. There is never enough praise to you for all that you do for us to protect us while we walk in this dark world. Thank you over and over for all of it. We are so grateful for each person that would talk with our group. There was need and some prayers went out to you, thank you for the blood of Christ that lets you hear those prayers and not harden your heart against your people. Let us work for you Father in a way that will honor the death of Christ Jesus let us do what we are here to do. Bless those you have chosen to do your work. Don’t ever let us grow weary or think it not necessary. Let us be strong and not grow weary in doing Your good work for those that are lost. Father we know darkness and sadness are coming but you can prepare us to face those times with the power of your son’s blood. Let us be ready before that time comes so it will not destroy our hope and our faith.

Father, I spent some time this morning writing thank you notes to those young men in Littlefield who blessed my life by a good experience at H.E.B camp. I want to bring them before you this morning and ask you bless them today for your glory. Matthew Ingle, Dalton Calaway, Tanner and Tyler Heffington, Garrett Bigham, Chris Grishane, Tyler Pace, Dakota Gage, Seth Clayton, Bryson Calaway, Taylor Pierce, Dillon Gage, Noah Rucker, Rance Johnson, Hunter Kloiber. Each of these will be the makers of the new church keep them strong and raise them to know your words so the Church will be ever strong for the sacrifices of Christ should always and forever be honored by these young men. Also, Father bless those youth at Lakewood they are also working hard to be the people you would have them to be. Work with Paul Fagala so he can guide them better and make a clearer path for all of them.

Father, be with Roland and Debra you know our troubles and you are the only one who can change anything in this matter. Do what ever you must to keep us all under your will and lay upon both of their hearts a better way, a right way to continue on.

Time calls me away from this moment of prayer Father but you are never away from my heart. I know it is by your hand and grace we are saved and I end these prayers that I write but I never end our communication. Stay with me daily and use me to do the work that lay at hand. Bond my soul to yours make sure that I am washed in the blood daily so that I am available always for whatever you call me to do. It is in the strong and powerful name of Christ Jesus that I pray it all unto your holy will. Amen

Mt. Belvieu Starting Day June 25 2009

Might God Our King
Today we start a new walk to plant seeds for your kingdom. We thank you that it was put upon our hearts to try to do this. We thank you Father each time a soul is brought our way that might be trying to reach you and you put the right word or the right way for that person to reach you. It is awesome to know that your power still seeks to save the lost and you send us out of our comfort zones to look for even one that might need you. I thank you Father I am not the one lost. I thank you Father that you still seek those who are. The weather is very hot and many who are walking today are elderly. Father watch over them and give them safety and common sense not to push past their limits. Keep them in areas where they can do the most good and send them to homes where the door needs to be opened to what we are doing this week. Guide us with your will Father and whoever is seeking let us be there for them today. The right person at the right time to do your holy will. Give us the strength not to grow weary and not to be unhappy about our situations in this hot weather. Help us to be positive and uplift each other as the week goes on. You are our master our creator and King and we seek to do your good work while we are here and while we wait to come home to you so let it all be productive to your glory.
Father, look in on Lois Allen today, also Glen and Peggy. We care for their needs Father and share in the suffering that they have at this time. Send comfort and relief for them because really there is nothing human hands can do for them at this point they need you and only you to take control and do your will in their lives. Seek a plan of mercy for all of them.
Each day let us come to you for our needs our prayers are with your blessings in the blood of your son Christ Jesus who’s name we use to call out to our God for everything. Until you come for us or call us home we stand proud to be at your service here on this earth. All in the name of Jesus…..Amen

June 19th Prayer

Sometimes I write these and never get to posting them but if I find one I put it in. Each day of my prayer life is important to me so I hope none of it is ever lost stored somewhere I can't find it.........
Dear Heavenly Father
By no other name can a man be saved from his sins and without You and without the blood of the Lamb we would have no hope. It humbles me every time I come to You in prayer because of this love You had for all of Your children. You have always left a ray of sunshine and hope in this dark world and in seeking You we have a way of making it through day by day. You have protected us from ourselves, made us see the right ways to treat each other, showed us the glory of respecting each other. You are the one who taught us to love each other when it wasn’t ever going to be easy for us to do so. I thank You for it all….. each and every day make it clearer and clearer to me what Your will is for my life. Don’t let me fall to the darkness of a fallen spirit. Thank you for the ability to not grow weary and despondent over things which I have no control. Let there be a softer side to my thinking. Lord I ask everyday to calm the anger that always seems to lurk in the background of my thinking. It seems I say the most hurtful things to the ones I care the most about and I wished with all that is in me that was not so. I find it a fault that ruins a relationship with my daughter and I have not been able to rise above it. There is so much disappointment but then what did I really have the right to expect? The dreams I have are not the dreams she has our worlds are totally different and I strive each and everyday to not let that break down our relationship. Lord, it is not easy for me. I put it into your hands and most of the time I can relax with that but sometimes I can not and I continue to pray about it.
Lord, I am so thankful for the avenue of prayer. What a blessing to talk things over with you. I pray daily not always in this format but I like it best because I can go back to it later and see where I am at. Thank you for all the blessings of prayer. Some of the things that come to mind to be thankful for was our trip to HEB camp with 54 kids and all went well. Our kitchen at the church is up and running and the hot water heater is going in today. We’ll have hot water for cleaning up the dishes now and that is such a blessing. More than we had before. We are grateful it’s going in before game night and our get to know the kitchen dinner. We have working air conditioners in the kitchen as well. I can not in all my thinking understand how we had the money to do this all and the help we needed. God bless all the men and ladies who worked so hard. Father please give them a special blessing for all that they contributed to the hard work it took to have this place for our fellowship. May this bring blessings and great glory to Your church.
Lord another work for Your name is coming for these hands of Your servants. A campaign is coming to Mt. Belvieu to plant seeds for the church. We don’t have a good reputation in the community there and it would be such a blessing Father to have your hand at work with us during this time. There are those who would be blessed by having the words that only you can bring to them by someone who might stop by the door. Father some are so broken they can’t reach out anymore they can’t see the light anymore and if someone should show up at just the right time a soul might be saved with these efforts. Only you can lead the right people to those who are so lost and alone. Let our work be effective in Your name. Let everyone who works be safe, guard them as they walk in the streets and carry Your message. Protect them from the heat of the day and let those who would be perfect for the job be willing to take it on. Father, as I work with feeding those who work let me do the right things to make a nice experience for them giving a bit of relaxation after a hot day of working and walking. Father, let me ask others to help as they need to have the experience as well if they don’t find it easy to door knock it still gives them a way to be in service to Your work. Help me to work with my sisters in Christ to make this a good thing for our church.
Father, there are those in need today, Tamar Johnson in her pregnancy, Harry Young with issues with his heart, Lois Allen needs to regain some strength to help her with the battles she faces. Robert Johnson need to rest and make himself well again. Haily Ryan is Sharon Roberts mother she has to deal with Lupus and Father that is a huge drain on the body. Bring her relief. Laura Gomez is fight a huge battle with cancer Father let her win it and keep her strong during the fight. Eddie Bridwell is facing a new form of treatment and let it be to his benefit so he might regain his health. Watch out for Terri Dunn’s brother and give them some rest in this Father, be strong with Terri as she faces what will be a most painful time and point of sorrow. Be with Robbie and Debra as they face uncertain time in their lives and deal with matter that they must face. Be with Carol Fabian and her son while he tries to recover from a car wreck. Father, be with Ricki Lane calm her spirit and give her the direction she needs to do all that she might for Your kingdom with respect to Your will. Father be with me and Roland and let us respect the church, the people here and the blessing that we are a part of this family. Let them all have Your comfort and Your will be the focal point in the problems that they face. Life is not always easy Father for us but in You and in Your love there is always hope. You are the King of Kings and we place our lives into Your mighty hands.
Father, be with me as I travel the paths that I hope You are laying out for me, bless the efforts that are made to do Your will for it is prayed in the strong and powerful name of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Be with us always until You come or call us home. Amen
