A PRAYER FOR MY DAUGHTER

This is my prayer for my daughter before she faces surgery for the first time in her life. I never say Amen at the end of a prayer for I never brake the line of communication between myself and God. I hope you understand. Please pray with me........

Dear Heavenly Father

You are our Lord, our king, our counselor and our victory in Christ Jesus. You are the power and the will that rules this earth. I want to thank you first and foremost for the hope we have because of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus your son. It is through you we have hope. Life without hope is nothing. Father today many of us face insurmountable problems that only with your guidance can we face. We seek you because we know in your ways there is peace and ability to face worldly fears. Father, Debra your servant and my daughter comes before you we are asking in the strong and powerful name of Christ for safety, hope and love through her surgeries. You have guided us to this place, you have directed our actions, and you have kept us strong till this very moment just hours before her surgeries. An uncertain time for us but not for you as you know all things. Surrender our hearts and our minds to your will today Father, take all fear and doubts from us as we move forward to seek a better life for Debra. Help her with these health issues for you are the great healer. Every moment of this day we put into your hands. These doctors have the skills they have because you provided them with them. Let us both trust and have total faith in that no matter what we see or hear. Keep our eyes focused on you Lord and not the things of this world. We seek and accept your will today Father whatever it brings we surrender it to you and seal the fears we have with faith in your love for us. Be with those who will attend to Debra today, be with the doctor’s guide their hands and touch their hearts as they work on her body. Let us be your representatives today Father as we face this with hope and not with fear. Let there be no tears today only joy in the fact you are the great healer and we are your children. As we walk down halls that we are not familiar with, see things we don’t understand, hear languages that are not understandable to us brace our ability to go on and never look back. Give us your hand as we walk down those halls to the surgery room because it is in your son’s name that we will be comforted and cured. Hold us close to you today Father so we can return whole into your service.

It is in the privilege and honor of prayer we beg these things in the power of Christ Jesus. Also, Father do not forget the others who suffer today. Be with Brad Wims as he is in Germany now seeking also for your will in health matters that are beyond his control. Be with his family as they walk hand in hand by his side. Guide guard and direct every second of the care while we are all far from home. Touch the lives of Bubba Kay and our sweet Dorothy who stands by him in his time of need. Rikki and James let them know an answer for their needs as well. Glen and Peggy are walking with you Father and seeking. You know every need Father see to Melinda and Steve. We trust you every hour Father and will abide in you and accept in you with all our hearts and all our faith. Our list could go on and on with names like Donna and her mother and Eddie, Lucy, Daniel, Bubba, Stacey, Sherry Rushing and her parents, Herb and Ann Lorfing. If we forget a name Father we know you wont. Be with Kim and David they are trustworthy servants in your name bless them each and every day for they help many with their spiritual lives in you. And last but not least Father be with my tender loving husband Roland as he provides so well for us. He is a rock in our home and our lives doing all he can for our benefit, care and safety. Thank you Father for putting him into our lives. Let us be bonded together always by the love you give us. I know that not everyone has someone so special in their lives and I thank you for my gift of a loving husband. In the strong and powerful name of Jesus with his ability to intercede on our behalf before the Father I pray until he comes or brings us home.
